Reference Database
This is a reference library database program. The database consists of collected articles in the field of mathematical programming at the Process Design Laboratory. By searching the database you are able to see if there are any articles in the specified field available at the laboratory. If there are, then these articles can be found in room B326 (Voodoo Lounge). Please notice that the articles are not on the web, only a reference to articles available at Process Design Laboratory. To search for finding out if there are any articles in any chosen field in the library, please choose one of the following searching methods by clicking or writing in the boxes below. You can also choose the outcoming format of the result by selecting the one in the selecting menu.

This library works as following :

There are three valid boxes in the Area Search field: Author, Title and Keyword
Mark as many boxes you wish in the field for searching through the database.
If you wish to search for a word with strict match then mark the strict match box. For example if you want to search for 'NLP' and don't want to have 'MINLP' in the output mark the strict match box. Logically the same for the CASE sensitive box.

In the Choice of output field you can obviously select what kind of output you want to obtain.
In the field with the long white rectangle you can write the words you are searching for in data base. The following logics are represented by these signs

OR is represented by ' | '
AND is represented by ' & '
NEG is reprenteded by ' ! '

It is possible to combine them to have a more advanced search
For example with Gross & Kra | Türk ! Gross | Skrifv & Harjunk ! Isak ! ILP

the following occurs: First is database search for the articles, where both the words Gross and Kra can be found. Then it search the database for hits containing the word Türk. From these hits the articles that contain Gross are sorted out from the final resulted list. Then is the base search for articles containing the words Skrifv and Harjunk, but not hits among these, where the words Isak or ILP can be found.
